— That taking pictures is the only way that you can express certain things. Some people can tell stories, but to a photographer, a camera is what tells the story. If there were words to describe what she/he saw, she/he would write a story. But to them, the picture’s worth a thousand words.

— He’s saying that if you go out and shoot for yourself, good things will happen for you. You’ll get good shots and get to experience it for yourself. If you’re not out there, you won’t get any of the experiences, and you won’t get any of the shots. You’ll have regrets and a lot of “what if..” questions and can only imagine what happened. Plain and simple.

— My thoughts: It’s just saying that a photo takes a point in time and alters life by holding it still. That moment will be caught forever in that picture. It alters life because now you can relive that moment over and over.
